Our Purpose:

Gays, Lesbians and Friends of Lansdowne is a not-for-profit community-based organization dedicated to improving the common good and quality of life of the diverse people of Lansdowne borough.

General Meetings

The next meeting will be Wednesday, July 15th, at 7pm. For directions/information please contact Wendy at: wchmiel1@swarthmore.edu or by phone at 610 622-1411. All GLFL members and supporters are welcome. Members will be voting at this meeting on new board members and a new vice president.

Summer is almost here! GLFL for events to celebrate the season coming up over the summer

Sunday, June 28th Water Tubing adventure!
Spend the day in Delaware water tubing with GLFL members
$18 per person
Bring drinking water, water shoes, and sun block
Food available at the water park
Some car pooling-10:00 a.m. departure, more information will be forthcoming

Saturday, July 4th-Lansdowne Fourth of July Parade, GLFL marching with No Place For Hate contingent
GLFL members will be part of the parade. More information on this event will be forthcoming.

Philadelphia Gay Bingo night - we are planning to reserve a table for September, so mark your calendars!
Reservations will be required this summer, and more information on this event will be forthcoming

Movie night at Lansdowne's new Cinema 16:9, at the new viewing room in the old Lansdowne Theater
GLFL table at the Lansdowne Farmer's Market
July Pool Party to beat the summer heat
Local walks and hikes
